The Samaritan Ministry provides laypeople and staff with concise training on how to:

*offer support and comfort to the grieving with trained volunteers.

*make use of support systems and community services.
*recruit and train volunteers.

*A detailed program Manual, available in English and Engish/Spanish, providing the organizational framework and instructions on how to assist those in need.
*Training Guides for each segment of the Ministry, to assist with meetings and future training.
*A 6 Page Newsletter, four times a year for those working in the Ministry.
*A Newsletter, four times a year for the Bereaved in your congregation.
*A Book Store, providing books and resources for sale, that specialize in grief topics.
*An 800 number, providing continuing backup support.
*The right to duplicate the copyrighted Ministry materials, for your internal use only.


FEE SCHEDULE
The Manual- A roadmap for the Ministry. How to organize and assist those in need. In English or English/Spanish versions.
$40.00/English; $45.00/English/Spanish plus shipping & handling.

Training Guides- Title "Where Do We Go From Here?" Six guides for the Ministry: 1) Leadeship/Board; 2) Aid to the Sick; 3)Caregiver Support Group; 4) Funeral Aid; 5)Bereavement; 6) Bereavement Support Group. Covering team meetings, training, and leader's instructions.
